Make a Homecoming Mum
           Texas is very active in supporting their football teams.  Whether High School, College and even PeeWee and Bantom Players, most teams have a "Special Game", which is called HOMECOMING.  Homecoming Mums are a must on these days. They are mostly worn by the girls, but now, even guys wear football garters on their sleeves. These are always done in the School Colors. For those of you, not from the southwest area, you probably think this is a silly custom and have never heard of them. But for the kids, it's a monumental day and they spend a lot of money purchasing "ready made" mums, or buying the materials to make their own . . . saving them considerable dollars.
          As more and more Texans relocate to other areas of the country . . . "Homecoming Mums" are beginning to spread across the US. From about May through October, each year, Homecoming Mum supplies are made available by several large chain stores and many florists. It has become one of the largest "Seasonal" sales events of the year!!
          You can get in on this spectacular program very easily, without having to spend a lot to get started.
